Our Christmas vacation is over tomorrow but we've had an amazing break spending time with family in Grapevine and Houston.
We traveled to Grapevine first where Michael got to spend time with his Auggie, Poppa, Auntie Em, Auntie Deborah, Ben, Great Grandpa Bill and Great Aunt Bonnie. While there we played games, spent Christmas morning being spoiled by Santa, saw a light show downtown, visited the Gaylord Hotel's extravagant Christmas display and ate some delicious food!
Then off to Houston where Michael got to spend time with his Grandpa, Mimi, Auntie Christy, cousin Gerson, Uncle Dan, Auntie Beth, Beth's boyfriend Josh and his daughter Ashlynn, Granny, Great Aunt Paula, Great Uncle Steve and cousin Ashley. While there we visited the Children's Museum where Michael "owned" the Tot area - crawling around, "driving" a car, playing in a ball pit and more. We also enjoyed visiting with family, a girls day/boys day and much much more.
We wish we could see ALL of our family but are glad to have spent time with a lot of them over the holidays.
Michael is taking a few steps on his own so we expect walking to be in his near future. He belly laughs, crawls SO fast, points at everything and most recently has decided that outside is the only place he'd like to be ... It's cold so we've tried to accommodate as much as we can and certainly hope this trend continues into his childhood.
We look forward to a New Year of great memories, plenty of laughs and lots of love!
