12 Month Appt. Update

Michael got a clean bill of health as expected on Wednesday. He can now drink whole milk which he seems to be enjoying. The risk of SIDS is gone and now he has a blanket and stuffed animal with him in his crib (seems silly but I'm most excited about that). He can eat pretty much anything at this point as long as it's small enough so its not a choking hazard - even peanut butter is okay.

And I've been scared to say this out loud but it's been a few weeks now ... it appears his blocked tear duct is gone. YEA!!!! We need to keep an eye on it but I'm pleased that's over. If it didn't clear up by 12 months it wasn't going to on its own and a procedure would have been done (it didn't sound pleasant to say the least).

He's still a little guy but more proportionate:

• 7th percentile for height
• 40th percentile for weight
• 25th percentile for head circumfrance

He got a few shots but after a few tears and cuddle time, he was back to his trouble-making, sweet self.
