Is July Over Already?!

Wow, I can't fathom how fast this summer has flown by, especially the month of July... but I digress. It's been a while since i've posted an update on our little family but July's been full of fun, sun and a holiday. Enjoy.

The 4th of July:
Michael's second 4th of July consisted of a neighborhood bike parade, where he participated in his wagon, pulling up the rear. The parade ended at our new park where he got his first taste of lemonade.

Little boy loved his first taste of lemonade SO much that he spilled it all over himself. So, we had to go home and change. He was not happy because a) he hates changing clothes and b) he wanted more lemonade.

I know, pitiful, but kind of humerous how dramatic he is...

Then, we took him to Fun City where he played in a ball pit and then to Highlands Ranch where they were having a fair - and horses were present, so we spent a lot of time looking/petting them.

We also went to Clement Park's annual Red, White & You celebration where he oooed and ahhhd at the fireworks show. It was a great 4th!

Michael's 2nd Beach Vacation:
Michael is one lucky kid, not only has he flown a bazillion times to FL, TX and NY, but he's been to the beach twice now. Once to Pensacola and just recently, to Deerfield Beach outside of Fort Lauderdale.

He LOVES the water - ocean, pool, bath's, puddles, you name it - he is a water baby. Sand? Ummm, not that much. He doesn't like weird textures and sand fell into that category unfortunately, but I was able to snag a few pictures of him playing in the sand.

Lots of great pics of our little beach boy below. Enjoy.

We've had a wonderful July and can't believe how much our boy has grown - 20 months old now! We are truly blessed ...

Until next time, have a great rest of the summer everyone. We love you all.
