Another Year, Another Corn Maze!

Fall is fun in Colorado - it's not too cold to hike, fish or ride your bike, but you can also begin to enjoy some of the things that the colder weather brings, i.e. corn mazes! Every year our nearby Chatfield Botanic Gardens has a corn maze and other fun rides/activities for kids, and we got a head start on checking out what was in store for this year.

First-Up? The Bounce Pillow

This activity ended-up in disaster when Michael was inadvertently bounced too high, landed on his face and had a full-on emotional breakdown while he was still bouncing around. Yes, we rescued him but not before witnessing some horrified looks. He is completely fine by the way but we did not revisit this attraction.

Next: Chubbs the Pony

He Isn't 3 Yet...

Michael couldn't sit by himself since he's just under three so I climbed into this tight little barrel and then put him in my lap. Snug as bugs.

Finally, the Corn Maze

Thanks to David we finally found the exit on this thing. Lesson learned: Never let your child pick every turn or you may be in there forever.

And one parting shot
