So long helmet head!

Good news! After three months Michael got word on Monday that his head has "corrected" itself enough that it is no longer needed. While he still technically has 1.6mm until it's considered perfect, our doctor noted that Michael is one of the best success cases he's seen and that his noggin will only get better as time goes by.

And since Monday, we've enjoyed a very happy, very talkative little boy. He never seemed bothered by the helmet but it seems he's just as excited as us to have it off. Below is a pretty technical image, but you can see how he's come along in the past three months (the inside pinkish line is the start and blue is where we are today).

So, you're probably wondering how he's doing. G-R-E-A-T! He's so much fun and has such a charming personality.
  • He is crawling up a storm and is so fast at it it's scary.
  • Smiles and giggles a lot.
  • Tries to make us laugh - blowing bubbles (aka spitting on you) continues to be one of his favorites.
  • Wants to climb stairs but isn't there yet.
  • Is having some stranger anxiety, mostly around men that aren't Dada.
  • Loves to explore and check out new things.
  • Loves walks.
  • Loves baths - I swear he could stay in there forever if we let him.
  • And yes, he still loves to be held - cuddle monkey forever.
I'm sure there's plenty I'm forgetting but Michael's nine-month appointment (yes, nine months next Friday) and I'll be sure to update all of you on how he's doing.

We're so proud of our pride and joy!
