Here he is in his Easter outfit, complete with an Easter Bunny hat ... good morning everyone.
He got a puppy that plays music, vibrates and rolls around so Michael can chase him one of these days as he masters the art of rolling over and crawling; a hand-held rattle; a toy for his car seat; some pureed peas, spoons and bowls that he can put into action in a couple of short weeks when we venture into the world of solid foods; and some new pacifiers.
Have I mentioned that Michael LOVES to stand? That's right, he's bearing weight on those little legs and standing! Check him out standing next to his play station today with David - happy little 'fella:
Anyway, back to Easter. We did a lot of things ....
We dyed Easter eggs
Michael helped us get ready with all the materials we needed.
Then it was time to play with some of his new toys and some of the old.
Here he is in his musical play station he got from Santa for Christmas.
Here he is with his new musical, vibrating, moving puppy - he seems to like it.
And then the rest of our Easter feast was prepared - a glazed honey ham, hashbrown casserole, green bean casserole (think we like casserole dishes?!) and Hawaiin rolls. Michael got to smell it but we can't wait for him to join in on the fun next year.
And we finished the day in the park with a walk - but ... we don't make it too far before people stop us and comment on how adorable Michael is. We have to agree :)
Such a stylish little boy - gotta' protect those baby blues!
This is at Clement Park. Beautiful setting with the lake and mountains in the background.
But our first Easter as a family was wonderful and we can't wait for many more just like this ... well, maybe with some Easter egg hunts added in the future.
I'm trying to capture every little moment of my son's life so be on the lookout for more blog postings as we go on more "adventures" and he does some more amazing things!
Good night for now - as you can see my boy is out after a long, fun day! :)
