Michael's Six Month Doctor's Visit

Michael turned six months old last week - can you believe it? Me neither.

We saw his pediatrician Dr. Frand on Friday to see how little boy stacked up and he's a healthy, funny, growing boy. His "percentiles" are:

  • 25.5 inches long (10th percentile)
  • 16 lbs (25 - 50th percentile)

While at the doctor's he stuck everything he could in his mouth: Dr. Frand's stethoscope, the cord on the little thing to check his ears, licking the tongue compressor and cutting his little finger on Dr. Frand's folder because he wanted to pick it up (he's fine).

He's developing normally - can "talk," sit with minimal support, laugh, smile, roll-over (both ways), stand with support, eat solid foods well, transfer items from one hand to another and so on.

He also got three more vaccinations, didn't cry at all and no fever or pain following. What a strong baby boy!

Before we know it he'll be turning one and stuffing cake in his face! He's growing up so fast ...
